    The Four County Community Foundation serves the Michigan region of Lapeer, Macomb, Oakland, and St. Clair counties. It supports opportunities that will have a positive impact on the residents of these communities. Grants are disbursed to support progressive ideas in education, health, community, youth, and adult program areas.


    The Foundation gives priority to programs that: (1) Fill a present need not served adequately by current resources; (2) Provide incentive for generating other funds and community resources; and (3) Facilitate cooperation and collaboration between organizations.
