    The purpose of the National Recreational Boating Safety Program is to reduce the number of accidents, injuries and deaths on America’s waterways and provide a safe enjoyable experience for the boating public.     Approximately $5,300,000 is available in total funding. 30 awards are expected to be made. Projects will last from 5/1/2015 - 9/30/2016. Cost sharing/matching is not required.
